the SUPERCOLLIDER at home.

I remember being underwhelmed when I first heard this pedal, but I listened to the clips again on my laptop speakers. I got pretty excited about how good it sounded, and I ran to plug it in to real speakers to hear the full bass definition.

Yeah, it still disappoints me. Too bad we can't play it through my laptop, huh?

you gonna love it man!

i got the small version, mxr size. i got the very first one!

small but huge in sound!

I saw that thread, that's pretty awesome you got the first one.

I couldn't believe the variety of sounds in the clips I listened to. I always liked the big muff, but not so much the limited sounds you can get out of it. And while I like my ODB, I've just been looking for something, different, better. I don't know. I'm still not 100% on what I'm really looking for in a distortion/fuzz.

The Supercollider is awesome on it's own. I've got a "mark 2" myself.
Surprised how much talk I've heard on TB about how it won't cut through....I cut through just fine.

The best use I've found is when dialling in a BRUTAL mid range-biting fuzz with the SC, and blending that with the clean signal a touch to bring back the bottom end. Not that the bottom end is lacking, just simply that I focused the SC towards the middle and treble for this particular sound.
Anyone who reckons the SC doesn't cut through, has NEVER tried this!

I have one. He was making them but I'm pretty sure he's stopped, at least temporarily. I think it was getting a little cramped in there...

ahh id contact him to see if hed make one..if its so cramped he could just exclude the battery cable...but based on how many people get responces after theyve payed for things i have a feeling id be waiting a looong time. Im gassing horribly for one but space is tight, guess ill get the regular one
