Looks really good and organized, I like that finish. You really dig the tight spaced knobs though, my fat fingers going to hate it lol. Very symmetrical, love it

Yup, should be tomorrow. Midnight tonight if I'm really ambitious, but probably tomorrow.
The od available is glorious. The eq at first seems too subtle but after spending some time with it the magic is in the presence and mids. It's a pedal that rewards you for your patience. The bass and treble adjustments are subtle. Not the best for taming a boom room or adding sparkle but that isn't the intent of this pedal. As a preamp I found 4 or 5 settings I'd be more than happy to leave on all the time and the od available is worth the price alone. If you have the Particle Accelerator or the London Underground both of those have much more pronounced eqs. Crank the mids and presence and back off from there and you'll find something you like.
intersting. I have an open slot in a few months and am hesitating between the LU, the Dr Watson and the SD. Perhaps Slampegg if I fail more FlipTops... I’m looking for some character/dirt/light OD that will be placed in front a a tube preamp. How do you power the SD? I’m wondering if the CIOKS DC7 (2X660mA) will suffice in practice...
My slot is coming up next month. Which pedal is closer to a B15 sound, the mini tube or the X version of the Slampegg?
I don't think anyone has an X yet. I'm getting both in this month's batch so I'll know soon enough. I also have the Fliptop and P-15, all of which I can A/B with my '63 B-15N.
But you also have to be clear about WHICH B-15 sound you want. Different eras and models have different tube configs. They're similar, but not the same.
EDIT: Then we can get into the different speakers used ... it's a rabbit hole.

Hey Fender P - Will be really looking forward to your thoughts about how all the great pedals and boxes you have compare to the B15 you also have . The one B15 I played years ago was probably about a 67 and it was heavenly - round and creamy . As my amp experiences go - it was truly special . The only other transcendent amp experience I had was when a buddy brought out out his 64 single 15” Fender Vibroverb for a jam one night . Soon as he started playing his Les Paul thru it - we all stopped playing just to hear him . You could not tell where the sound was coming from - it just enveloped the room as did the B15 .... Kelly
As I recall the original B15 used a 6SL7 in the preamp, which has an amplification factor (mu) of 70. The 6N21B mini tube has a mu of 75, compared to the 12AX7 mu of 100.
So as the only person that currently owns a Slampegg X I can say that it is amazing and I love it, but based on the amplification factor (can be considered "gain") the mini version is technically closer to the original.

So I'm going to get this out in a mass email to my mailing list shortly, but figure I would let TB know first, I'm officially upping volume to 40 builds a month starting January, so if you were in January or February you are now in January, and if you were in March or April you are now in February.
I also just opened up ordering for March, so that's in there.
Oh and Deep Dish is ready to go for orders starting in January, so if you already have a slot you can upgrade in the Add-On Shop, if not you can get a new build in the March slots.
Also keep in mind that starting March everything has a standard color assigned to it and custom color options are an extra $20, except the raw finish like on the Deep Dish posted earlier, that finish is available at no extra charge regardless of the build.
