I said there isn't room for a passive DI switch. There is always room for a ground lift in my DI builds, I consider that to be a must-have.

Still pink LEDs, sorry. I thought about going for a different color (considered green because Neptunium is radioactive), but I just think the pink ones are super neat.

Is the tone stack in Neptinium sorta like Underground Accellerator with the mids wide open ? I often set my UA to 6-10-6 and I don't often drop the mids from 10

Someone in the C2C thread posted the frequency response for their nobelium at a few settings, and I'd assume it's similar or identical.

I haven't quite finished testing, but I'm doing some re-amping (well, using the looper on my HX Stomp) with variations of new production tubes and toggling between 9V and 12V to see what I like and what, if any, differences exist. Using headphones with a rather flat response I'm finding the difference is very subtle. At 12V it sounds just a touch punchier, as the lower bass is rolled off just a bit and my pick noise was slightly enhanced. Probably a lot less noticable through an amp or PA speakers, and even less so in a mix. This has been the case to varying degrees with all of the tubes I've tested in all of my pedals: Finally v2, UA and Nobelium
Not sure where I'll land, but if you're not super particular then I'd just stick with 9V since it will draw less power from your power supply.

I cannot hear a difference. Keep in mind that unless it's grossly obvious, if one cannot consistently hear a difference when trying to distinguish blindly at constant volume (because everything bass-related sounds better to the human ear a bit louder, within reason), then one cannot hear a difference. If one has to aurally "squint" when doing an unblinded A/B comparison....well then....
The tubes are running at high voltage that stays the same with 9V or 12V going into the pedal, the heaters are running at whatever voltage you supply to the pedal.
Neptunium is the XLR preamp section of the Noble, so it uses that same tonestack.
I am going to do a blind test with a couple of folks at my next gig during soundcheck and see if anyone notices even the slightest difference. I will do it as well. I can show my guitar player how to switch the power supply from 9 to 12 and then I won't know either.
Since it might change the temperature of the heater in the tube the change might not be very fast, give it a minute between changes. (Maybe ??)

Yeah the change in temperature of the tube is really the only thing that could create a theoretical difference since the HV rail is regulated, so definitely give it a minute each time you switch.
