Oh crap, that's right. I need to add options for choosing your effects for Robot Butterfly. I guess I'm doing that tomorrow
and unfortunately the FV-1 doesn't play very nicely with tap tempo natively, but that's something I may get around to developing (quite a ways) down the road.including at least two that are INCREDIBLY exciting, but I'm not ready to announce them yet. Also as soon as the November slots sold out I went ahead and ordered a UV printer

which uv printer did you get?
I was hoping to get it ready even sooner, but I decided to take my time on it and get it right the first time rather than risk going through multiple versions after release. And while I was working on it, it gave me some ideas on other really neat things I could be doing too 
Not that this is much consolation as the wait will be longer, but January slots are open@Sushi Box FX - Dammit, I flipped a 90's EHX Microsynth in preparation to buy a Particle Accelerator slot for December... and all the other sneaky Talkbassers have beaten me to it... I guess patience is a virtue.... take a deep breath.........
I got a "cheap" ($2700) Chinese A4 flatbed UV printer. The original ETA was November 9 - December 7, but they shipped it DHL and it's actually set to be here tomorrow
I'm optimistic about it, I'd been talking myself in and out of buying one for about 2 years now and finally talked myself into it enough that it stuck

Alright, I guess it's not fair to keep everyone in the dark when a handful know already. I'm working on a compressor based on the LA-1A. I have one that I tore down and reverse engineered, changed some bits, and am working on the logistics of putting it into a smaller box. I don't know exactly how much it will cost yet, but it's going to be a bit pricey (compared to my normal stuff, not compared to the original). I'm hoping to have a working prototype done in the next month or so, with the bugs ironed out and a production-ready version by the end of the year, available for sale starting January. Again this is assuming everything works according to plan, which is obviously why I haven't widely announced it, just in case I need more time to have it ready I don't want to have to cancel orders after offering it too soon.
Seriously, it is so freaking cool. If the original wasn't so expensive I would already own three, because I want one on my bass board, one on my guitar board, and one on reserve for recording.Oh, I think it will be...it’ll be very popular based on what’s hot with TB members...just wait and see...and save up...
That would be absurdly cool. Unfortunately analog cab sims are a bit complicated and generally require several stages, which would mean a tube one would be expensive, large, and power-hungry. I love tubes and I try to use them for anything and everything I can, but these days I use a Torpedo CAB M+ (not affiliated, obviously) because IRs have come a long way and it just makes sense.
