As just another software developer, I feel ashamed of these guys!
This is exciting news. Have you ever thought about partnering with someone (Broughton Audio? Radial? Origin Effects? Two Notes?) for software dev? They’d be insane to not want to work with you.
I don't take it personally, though the last one hurt because although he agreed not to take payment until the job was done, he disappeared with all the development hardware I had sent him.
Of the companies you listed there the only one that actually does any software is Two Notes, and I feel like they're too big to consider working with someone like me. The only company I ever reached out to about this is Shift Line, but the terms they asked for didn't seem very reasonable to me. I would prefer not to be tied to another company on the design; there's always the chance that something could change that would jeopardize the product, so I would prefer to own all the intellectual property of the designs. I will never be a software person, but I never stop learning, so I'll either figure it out eventually or I'll find the right person to help me, and I'll make it happen.

@Sushi Box FX @Ross Davies I'd have to say, you guys could be onto some special sauce; for two years now, my live and recording rig has been based around a Sushi Box tube preamp on my board, and a Two Notes Torpedo CAB M+ as my DI/IEM/FOH box. It's been a divine combo, and even ended up on some professional records when I sent the engineers the "treated" track in addition to a completely clean DI line (fully expecting them to instead take the clean line and then do their own thing)!

Single Slice, finally got around to getting a first impression. Tested with a Kubicki so I could easily switch between active and passive.
The tone is distinctive, with an inherent character. Regardless of the difference in the circuits, it feels similar to the More, in that it imparts this chewy, wooly old school lead sled vibe.
What is surprisingly transparent is the gain management. The Single Slice does a remarkable job of bringing up the softer notes and adding significant sustain, with no pumping, or obvious breathing. Throughout the compression envelope, the noise floor is very low and consistent.
This is based on my first 15 minutes, but I’m immediately committed to spending more time getting to know its range. It’s firmly planted in my favorite comps club; Apex, Omnicomp, Diamond, Keeley Bassist, Spaceman Ixion, and Smoothie.

just when I thought ill Get the Finally V3 when it gets released and be done for now hoarding pedals. but if something like this can be done ill just have to get it no matter what LOL.

Request for the future:
The path that lead me to the HX Stomp was the fact that with a pre-amp or other pedal is that you dial in your settings and that's it, for live if you want a diffent sound it's either another pedal or bend down mid set/song and make the changes.
I would love a tube preamp with a proper interface where I can save and recall settings, defo one for the future. the Sansamp programmable DI comes close but no cigar!
I think the future is true hydrid (as in tube, digital and class D)
I agree that's a super cool feature to have, but that would be a pretty big ask in a 4.7" x 2.5" box. If I did something like that it would probably only be on one large high-end unit and not a standard feature that was available on everything.
Yeah, agree you wouldn't want to convet every pedal in the line up with that funtionality.
But I magine a programable tune pre that had your SBVT, Grand Slampeg and UA, would that be the ultimate preamp?
Anyway I'm jumping the gun here a little but the Sushi Box future looks bright!
Twonotes collab with Ashdown resulted in my favorite amp ever. The LB302n. All tube amp with 30w and an internal load so you can go direct without a cabinet. Two DIs that are post power stage and transformer and one of which then gets routed to the internal twonotes cabsim module. I can have any speaker I want in the feed from this.
Not to derail the thread but two notes has a history of doing some fun collaborations.
I could see a slice followed by a grand slampegg, followed by an opus would cover a lot of ground.

Aftershock with a tube gain stage or an Ultrawave with a few tubes to add some harmonics.
