Last I heard getting a software engineer for the cab sim was difficult, so don't think it's that.
Maybe a Tube effects loop? Like the Brought FFXL to inject tubiness into any pedal?
My hope is a chorus, but I think there was trouble dialing that in consistently.
If it's something that was never mentioned before, I'm not sure what it could be, but I'm game for a surprise.

Had band rehearsal today. Just took my QSC CP12 monitor, passive P bass and a mini board with a Bass Clone, TC Spark Mini, and Finally WBIM. The Spark pushing the Finally was pretty cool.

I’ve got a Finally V3 coming in AND a Spark so excited to try these out. Also shocked at how cheap the Spark is
Same here. I bought the Finally to replace the Spark, which I use to get some grit and extra volume out of my poor Rumble 100.
I got my Finally v3 in yesterday- talk about a fast turnaround!
Initial thoughts:
I have had the finally v2 initially running my direct bass sound into a quad cortex for a year now - i had used it for a dual purpose. I had used it for a bit of tube saturation/ feel, as well as using the xlr out as a “clean” bass signal prior to quad cortex incase I needed it for recording (i didn’t use often tbh). I liked the finally v2 but never used the hpf option in this specific use case.
Yesterday I have tested the v3 in a new context: i have it running last in the chain after my quad cortex, which also has a pre qc signal chain to add some analogue sound & controls (lightningboy 23fe+ -> sa cali bass -> sa dcx bass for eq/saturation). This has now made me completely sold on the qc as a replacement for my tube rigs. It takes changes from fuzzes/distortions so well and just adds that tube light compression to the mix. I tend to run the gain pretty high so will be trying to swap in some other tubes just for fun, but like the stock tubes.
The v3 ‘s variable hpf is great and ive dialed in a nice cut around 50ish hz to my ears that keeps my bass intact but tight and efficient! It’s a small change but definitely makes the hpf more usable than the v2

So it's 3.30am here downunder and I was reading a book waiting for my meds to kick in so I can get some sleep earlier then normal, it's going to be 32 C here today so I don't want to sleep all the way to lunchtime.
Well I had a thought come into my head that I had to write down, something in the back of my mind said would a blend pedal be useful where you can mix a clean signal and an effect pedal signal together.
So my current guess is the pedal will be a blend pedal to be used with the other effects.
Now watch Mr Sushi come and tell me I am wrong again, I'm getting used to that.

I would buy that as a Submarine or Ictineo into my Finally V1 with a Jensen DI is a mainstay for great recorded tones. That Pair driven by a MORE and it gets quite Godly.
It would have to be painted yellow

Trying to decide on getting a single slice. I know before you set your compressor to mostly minimum on each dial. How are you setting the Single Slice? Thanks!

Glad you like that combination, Brad. More drives many pedal combinations quite well, as well as amp head preamp stages. I like mine in front of my V2 w/12AU7.
