A Venus P(re) in a UA size pedal, just the pre and no DI? Maybe a gain knob?
Or a tube version of a solid state amp.
A tube version of the Little Mark III or Tonehammer would probably fly off the shelves.... just a thought

i built a tube preamp by request ( a Traynor YB1-A) for a special order and it sounded great. i used the C2E High Voltage SMPS PCB for the power conversion) and include a relayed true bypass.

I'd say, and going by Sushi's last Aprils fools joke that it'd be solid state. Maybe a Solid State version of a well known tube amp. Probably not an SVT, because, well everyone has one. Maybe Mesa Bass 400
Off topic, but what are those tubes used, I have a couple that looks exactly like those, and I would like to identify them?
I need another pedal preamp like I need a 3rd nostril. That said, the Traynor Mark ll pedal by Johnk_10 is beautiful-perfect finish/esthetics IMO.
My all-time fave preamp is the Mesa Walkabout, and I already have V 2.0 in my WD800 head, but I suspect it'd be a hit in pedal format.

JJ Electronics, sometimes branded as JJ/Tesla. Looks like ECC83S, known in the US as 12AX7.
I'm consistently congested and haven't found anything to relieve it long term, I would love a third nostril.
While I don't think this is what PMLE is going to be, I'd love a Sushi take on a console style preamp, complete with transformer in the whole signal path. There have been a few that have been done quite well, but it feels like an unexplored route compared to many pedal types.
Or I might have to get one of the new Catalinbread Airstrip pedals and run a More into it to try and get close.
