I had planned to release it a few hours ago as it would have been midnight in the time zone I'll be vacationing in this summer, which I thought would be fun, but I didn't make it. I have a draft page on the website and took some nice pictures, just need to get them put together and hit publish.

That being said I've been a lot busier than usual at the old day job, so it still may be a couple more hours before I get it put up. You'll all obviously be the first ones to hear about it.

Correct. Comes with a 12AX7 but tuned to be clean, so it still drives nice with something in front.

Hi @Sushi Box FX - a quick couple of questions about the PMLE if that's cool?

Is it a limited run, or is it now a regular product - do I need to rush to get one ?

Also, what's the best way to describe the difference with the Finally v3 in terms of sound? I realise the Finally will clip on its own and the PMLE needs an increased input - and one has the HPF whereas the other have active EQ, but does one sound more 'vintage' and the other more modern?

Finally v3 comes with a 12AU7 tube by default.
With a 12AU7 it does NOT clip on its own.

Pre My Last Email is a limited product. Its preamp is almost identical to Venus Z, and frankly it's a little annoying to build. So I don't think it makes sense to have both around, and between the two I would rather keep Venus Z long-term. I wanted a PMLE for my personal bass board and I think it's really neat, but the plan is to keep it limited.

The shortest answer is going to be Finally v3 is more vintage voiced, PMLE is modern-voiced. Finally v3 isn't really based on any preamp in particular, it's just kind of a "generic" tube preamp, but PMLE is specifically based on a Gallien Kruger voicing, so the goal is a modern sound.

Also as mentioned above, Finally v3 will only clip with a higher gain tube installed, it will not clip with a 12AU7 installed, which is what it comes stock with.

Gonna experiment with a couple different things with the PMLE. Try it with a boost in front of it and then try it with the Finally (with 12ax7) after it. Will be interesting to see which sounds the best.

I really like the idea of PMLE because of the four-band cut/boost, but already have a Neptunium, so will have to give this more thought. It should be killer, and I'd be all over it if I wasn't already "Blessed" with another "prime" Sushi?...

Thanks. My ideal sound is more vintage warm with saturation. But I don't want too large a board, so I got rid of my NUX preamp with EQ and bought a Neptunium. Primarily that over the Finally as it had the bass/treble EQ. And I've no other EQ control.

Ideally, I'd want some mid boost if I'm fighting for room with drums and guitars, so that's why I was thinking about the PMLE/Venus.

I've got a tape saturator effect, so that's covered. I guess my best option for EQ may be something like an Aguilar db 316 DB 316 Mid-EQ Pedal

Kind of embarrassing that I replied with the same info the pedal maker himself answered with a half hour earlier than I did.
My page obviously had not refreshed as I had thought.

I have been a GK player since 1984, but I have always loved Fender amps too. I’ve been holding out for the furthermore since Nathan gave the specs on it many months ago. In the meantime, he comes out with the additional Neptunium release, now the PMLE, with a tone stack that I’m very familiar with…I am in a FOMO state, but am determined not to break.
When will the Furthermore be ready!
