I just threw a simple arrangement together and tracked my P Bass Using the Single Slice Compressor, Underground Accelerator, and Neptunium. I did not put any Plug ins on the Bass Track. That is just the Sushi Box pedals.

I seen someone asking about a compressor. I have the Empress Bass Comp and a Darkglass Hyper Luminal but this Single Slice Comp is my new favorite. If the fat tube sound is what you're looking for I highly recommend it.

Worst part is that I don't get to play it till the end of the month because I'll be in Vegas. Actually, the worst part was probably how I ran out onto my front lawn in my underwear to capture the sparkles in the best light. More escaped mental patient vibes. Sorry, neighbors!

I have a semi-hollow AGB200 with flats. It is a pretty low output, so I decided to add a PMLE to ensure the quality of my gear continues to far outpace my skill level. Dang this thing sounds great.

Added it to a Peterson tuner and SP comp on my custom pedalboard design sitting on top of my Rumble 40.
Since the tube is lit by a purple LED, I decided to lean into the purple color theme. Purple printed items. Purple screen on the Stroboscope.
There is enough room for another mini pedal. I could take suggestions for that. Octave? Chorus? Reverb? So many choices.

I have an MXR Phase 95 (which is a mini) downstream from my UA. I don't use it much, but when I do there's no substitute for it.

There's room left on my board too, not in a hurry filling it, leaning towards Elementary, but then again maybe Single Slice....

The Phase 95 could be a good choice for sure. Not purple, but orange might add a nice contrast

I liked Single Slice from the get-go, but man the very first time I ran Single Slice into Finally, it was eye-opening.

I just finished a batch of 10 Finally v3 and added them to stock on the site, and I think that's going to be the last of the builds I do before I leave for vacation on Wednesday. Ordering will remain open until 12:00PM US Central Time on June 24, with the intention being I could ship the last of the orders that evening since I won't have time to drop anything off on the 25th before I leave.

I've already started a new folder in my email for "post-vacation follow up" for things I won't have time to resolve beforehand, and I expect that list will grow. I expect to have access to my email and the forum for at least half the time I'm gone, but a solid 2 weeks or so will be out in the countryside of Mongolia (no I'm not joking) where internet is not guaranteed.

I'm sure I'll get comments of "don't worry about checking in, enjoy your vacation" from people that don't understand how my brain works. I don't spend time on forums because I feel obligated to, I hang out here because I enjoy it. Music is just about my only passion in life, it would be silly to pretend I'm not thinking about music just because I'm on vacation. I may be slower to respond while I'm on vacation, but I'll still be around.

I'm a newish bassist, but I've been producing and recording music for a long time. I started playing live earlier this year and have some big festivals coming up with a punk/emo/hardcore/new wave band. Most of my live and studio work is DI-based, and I won’t be able to travel with an amp for these upcoming shows.

I play a P-Bass, and my current board is: 
Empress Bass Compressor → SansAmp (for tone shaping) → EHX Clone Theory + Xotic X-Blender → Neve RNDI.

I've been thinking about replacing the SansAmp with a Sushi Box tube pedal to add some tube warmth to my tone, but I’m unsure which one to go with. I don’t know a lot about the sound of different tubes. I recently added an Empress Bass ParaEQ at the end of my chain, so I don't need a pedal with EQ. I also plan to keep using my RNDI, so DI functionality in the pedal isn't necessary.

The Underground Accelerator and the Finally both seem like good options, but I'm open to other suggestions. Are there any tonal differences between the Underground Accelerator and the Finally, or are the main differences just in the EQ and DI features?

I have a UA and I like it. You might find you don't need any other tone shaping after the UA.

But Finally v3 has one thing you might really want: the variable HPF. Useful when they try to turn the bass into a muddy. blurry mess in the subs (like I've heard at too many live shows). And - have you ever run into situations where the board can't send phantom power for your RNDI? It would be handy then.

The perfect answer if you’re looking to replace your SansAmp would be both (Finally and UA).
Assuming your SansAmp is a model with a DI, and you can dial up a little dirt with it; the Finally/UA combo would be just right IMHO.

Thanks for your thoughts. The ParaEq has a pretty powerful HPF and gives me the type of EQ control I’m used to in the studio, so I wouldn’t need one on another pedal. Thankfully I’ve never had a live situation where I couldn’t get phantom power, and I don’t expect that there will be situations when I won’t have it.

For the genres you mention I would lean towards an Elementary. Please buy one so Nathan doesn't discontinues the Elementary and I can buy one for myself as a Christmas present.

If you're DI'ing from your amp, then a UA is all you need to get the tube character, its neat that the eq is switchable.

Can you say more? I'm pretty happy running my LA-2A pedal into a Finally, and I'm wondering what I would gain (other than temporarily satiating the GAS monster).
