I've had a lot of people sending me their post looking for my reaction. I don't have a trademark on the word "More" (I doubt anyone could) and I think the pedals are dissimilar enough that nobody is likely to confuse them. Not to mention the fact that Union Tube and Transistor released a one-knob pedal called More before I did. I had a brief chat conversation with Seamoon FX, they seem cool.

Dunno, seeing what that pedal does kinda pisses me off and it's an uncool situation.
TBF they may not have known about SB.

My first pedal was a Seamoon Funk Machine.

I didn't know about the Union pedal though.

Makes me want to go get a SB More to add to my SB collection.......but only after I get a Mayday.

Yup, I saw them when they came to Chicago a couple weeks ago and it was cool to be able to see the Unagi Magnetics sticker on the side of his Finally v3.

I definitely got the impression from our brief chat that they didn't know who I was, and to be completely honest before people started sharing pictures of their pedal with me I wasn't familiar with them either. I only became aware of the Union Tube and Transistor More because someone mentioned it on a youtube video that a demoer made of my More v2, and I felt bad for having accidentally taken their name, so I assume Seamoon felt similarly about this.

Also if I remember correctly, the name More was suggested by someone on this forum, it wasn't a name I came up with, so I assume whoever that was (it was a while ago and I really don't remember) also was unaware of the Union Tube and Transistor pedal. Things happen, nobody is maliciously copying or trying to mislead anyone. Their pedal looks cool, they seem to do good work, and I wish them all the best.

And I have plenty of other things to work on ;)

Put this out there- a 12AU7 and a EF86 with a Neve 1073 separating the two can sound really good if the gain can be split after the EF 86 feeds the Neve 1073 into the 12AU7. Im sure im not the first to suggest this. Get a couple of us here in agreement to make enough pedals to interest Mr. Nathan, and we've got an approximation to what Ive lucked into here.

I have approached another builder with a tube based drive: still in the works. May or may not happen. Crazy limited market for what i feel to be the best effect for bassists. A tube drive that gets the midrange right.

The build would be a 1590BB. This is a challenge. Literally and figuratively, if we get four more of us, we meet Nathan’s minimum for custom builds provided he is interested.

He would lose money. It would be his most expensive build for the most limited audience but it would be art.

A Broughton Studio One with tube input and output gain and buffers would be an amazing mash up.

It shall be called the Broughton Box Studio Greenhouse Deluxe. With an Unagi transformer and 2 parametric mids. Tubes can push the Neve circuit on the front, then pad it on the back for extra harmonics, but not distortion.

I think it would be a great sound, but in all honesty I think the chances of it fitting in a 1590BB are slim as a big part of the 1073 sound is the transformers. I'm planning to venture into the world of studio equipment at some point in the near future, at which point something 1073 flavored is all but unavoidable, but it's not something I'm in a position to jump into right now.

Reason: I'm replacing it with a Mayday for more differentiation from my Pettyjohn pre - which already does the clean/tight thing in spades

I had a few minutes to compare the PMLE and the Mayday and it’s like Nathan mentioned…the Mayday sounds a bit thicker, I’d say a bit more vintage sounding while the PMLE a bit more modern with the clearer articulation.

The PME I have is in mint condition and I'm going to price it at what I paid for it, $285

So heads up to the Sushi Box folks before I put it up - PM me if interested

Sunnday drive. The boost is strong and it's very powerful overall. Fender tonestack. The tube lights only turn on of the boost is on. But the preamp is always running. Got any specific questions? I think that pretty much covers it.

That’s good, jimmy. Caught a SoundCloud, Goggle AI search told me it was a Fender Tone Stack. Plugged it in, and its pretty much what i was hoping for. Am familiar with the counterintuitive Fender Tone Stack, messed with it for 5 minnits, i lie it. No complaints at all. Glad i picked it up. Thanks, Rich!

This would be great. I also have and love an SLO MKIIIS. (I actually went get extra mile and bought their Cabzone Bass so that I could access more IRs easily. It makes auditioning the ones I want to load onto the pedal much easier.)

Doesn’t necessarily even need to have a card reader - a USB port and replaceable internal slots would be fine with a toggle switch on the panel for selection. Could even be preloaded with Shift Line’s excellent B15 IRs (though I have to say, the amp sims do improve things noticeably).
