Do read back through the thread. Nathan (owner of Sushi) has posted extensively about each of the three Finally versions. Also the players who've bought them have discussed them. All three versions are highly regarded. If you want a new pedal and buy it from Nathan, then the current version is V3, and that's what you get. There are V1s and V2s on the used market occasionally but not generally for much less than new ones.
I will add that the More pedal should be thought of as a very lightly colored clean boost. You only hear color when the gain is really cranked, depending on how hot your chain is going into the More. I've had fun with it before a dirt pedal of whatever sort, which typically do better work with a hotter input signal.
The More is a tube gain stage or boost, in other words. If you're going to drive a dirt pedal with a boost pedal, it might as well be a tube boost if you dig tubes. You could also use a More as the last pedal before your amp input, if you are getting overdrive or harder dirt from your amp itself.
Finally is not a Noble clone or a clone of anything else for that matter. It is its own thing.
I'm a fan of Finally v3, I feel like I learn more as I go along so the latest version is going to be the most representative of my current knowledge, but neither of the other versions were bad.

The great thing about Talkbass is not so much getting immediate help, but is more so access to all of the discussions about products that have been around for years that any person who is willing to take the time to search and read can find out for themselves. That makes it a valuable resource for bass musicians.
Talkbass has been around for more than 24 years. Sushi Box FX has been around for at least seven years. People who don't do their own research on here are limited to the responses they get immediately, which are not always representative of the comprehensive knowledge that's possible by reading what has been posted on Talkbass previously.

@Sushi Box FX - you should chat with Earthquaker while you are there, they just released a Tube Preamp and a Bass Preamp, separate devices. You need to show them how to do both (and get paid for your expertise).
I tried their tube preamp at the Wood Wire Volts show in Anaheim in January, it's a collaboration with Dr. Z. I was underwhelmed to say the least.

Finally got around to putting this little board together. My new band is pure IEM so I wanted something portable with nothing I don't need. It's got tone for days!
Out of the few preamp pedals I have I keep coming back to this little gem. Especially for use with my P bass with flats. Such a shame the corporate peeps had to kill it. If the replacement is going to be any better without sacrificing this mojo I get out of it (I don't see how, but Nathan usually finds a way) you owe it to yourself and your ears to try it out. Thank me later.

You dodged a bullet IMHO. That Lepidopterid Sushi is durn near irreplaceable, highly flexible and tonally outstanding. I have never fallen even close to out of love with mine. I use it for occasional delay but mainly the phaser. With the rate set slow and mix at 9:00 it adds a glistening je ne sais quoi to my sound. I much prefer that to a More or any other subtle sweetener.I know i said i had a Glass Butterfly for sale but i've just re-tubed it, tested it and it's now back on the board again

I just tried your settings in that photo and it sounds cool. Then i tried your slow rate settings and yeh it does the "More" thing but with the added sweetness of the slight phaser. Big, bloomy sound. I'm sold lol niceone.
