While it's true that pedals can't make you a better player, if it makes playing more enjoyable in such a way that it makes you practice more because you're having fun, then at the same time don't restrict yourself from enjoying it.
I think we all go through it at some point, I know I did and I've seen others on TB who have. Some stay away from pedals for good, some end up with even bigger boards than before. My only recommendation would be don't sell something you can't easily get back, at least not yet when you're in the drastic-swing stage of this decision. A Sushibox Westinghouse, pretty easy to buy another (at least right now, just might wait a few months). A more rare pedal (some Broughton, some Chase Bliss, Highwind, anything limited runs, etc), might be worth just putting in a drawer for a while until you've really decided if you'll stay away from pedals, or start building a new board.
All originals. Genre names don't mean much anymore, but the best description I've got is on the heavier side of indie-ish alt rock I guess? What kind of tunes you guys playing tonight covers or mainly originals?
Well If you have a Slampegg (NON-X) and are curious what a Broughton Fliptop Boost sounds like, this is it. They are completely indistinguishable with these settings.
Just for reference, the knob on my Fliptop Boost is at 10 o'clock.
Also just so you'll know, I spelled 'indistinguishable' without the aid of spell check or backspace

With the added benefit of being able to support a red blooded American business who makes his custom products available without any hassle!
Wanted to specify my ‘like’ is for the spelling effort. Waiting for my April Slampegg. Tick tock.Well If you have a Slampegg (NON-X) and are curious what a Broughton Fliptop Boost sounds like, this is it. They are completely indistinguishable with these settings.

Does this apply to the non-x version only? In other words, do you have an x version to see if you can dial that one in too?Well If you have a Slampegg (NON-X) and are curious what a Broughton Fliptop Boost sounds like, this is it. They are completely indistinguishable with these settings.

I have the full fliptop and an Slampegg x coming in March.... I think. So, I can try to test that out myself.I do not have an X version to test. Yet. I’ll have one in May....unless someone wants to send me one now!
I have an X to test with,so I think it'd be better if you'd just send me your Fliptop for testing. But with how crazy USPS has been, it may mysteriously get lost in the mail...I do not have an X version to test. Yet. I’ll have one in May....unless someone wants to send me one now!
What the correct emoji for "mistrust". Insert that mods.I have an X to test with,so I think it'd be better if you'd just send me your Fliptop so it can mysteriously get lost in the mail...

Hey everyone, another quick March batch update (because you guys seem to like that sort of thing):
After almost 2 weeks of 14-18 hours a day (but taking sundays off) my basement is almost done. Framing is 100% done and drywall is 95% done, and my parents are heading home today. My workshop is a mess as it became the default throw-everything-here space, but this afternoon/evening I will get it cleaned up and shift into high gear to get the March batch finished.
3/4 of the enclosures for the month are currently finished, and 1/3 of the circuit boards for the month (literally Westinghouse) are finished, so I have a sizeable dent in the work already, and I'm going to do everything I can short of working myself sick to get everything done by tomorrow and shipped April 1st.
Thank you all for your patience (even begrudging patience), I know waiting longer for gear isn't fun, but I really needed a better option for organizing my workspace and having a finished room instead of just a jumbled corner of an unfinished space is going to help a lot.

Don’t make yourself crazy. Another day or a few isn’t going to be the end of the world. Not for me anyway.
