That I do!
I'm a huge Broughton fanboy but the PA sounds better than the SS. The PA is more musical across all frequencies. It's also more versatile and has more Mids on tap. The only thing the SS has on the PA is a little more low end heft but that's it. My wife said, "The PA is more musical and the SS sounds tinny." I agreed with her and shipped the SS off. She studied opera and stage performance so she does have an ear for this type of stuff.
So I'm still ahead of my original November 10th deadline, but I'm a little behind my optimistic schedule, things keep getting in the way But I just finished the first of teh October batch, so if order #1 is yours, this is your pedal. I'm hoping to get at least 10 done tonight, but we'll have to see how that goes. I'll update everyone before I go to bed

If this is gonna be another super fanboy type of manufacturer I should follow the internet rules for getting rich:
1. Buy two of all the Sushi pedals
2. Wait for everyone to catch up with how cool they are
3. List them for stupid prices

Soo...did the illusion orange happen? I might have to get a Slampeg or London just because I love that orange, lol.
Well in my defense as soon as they are listed they sell so fast that for efficiencies sake, it makes no sense to assign a different number.
Also....I might have had a few drinks...

but if resale prices on my pedals start to get absurd, you may start to see an anonymous seller putting out a few neat ones every now and then to cash in on hype Yup, totally happened. I'm an impulsive buyer

So what’s gonna be the “magic number” meme for these, a la the infamous “$550 OBO”....? You can be the first!
Awww yeah. So, no regrets waiting incl no regrets paying a little more. I mean hell, I THREW the lil extra for the custom work for my Particle Accelerator at Señor Sushi. Obvs worth it and then some.
But I'm now on the January list for a Slampegg Bee Pre. Ideally with more discussion on color combos as I selected those kind of haphazardly heh (and thought the white chassis with purple knobs from a while back looked killleeerrrrr so hey lol)
Btw, said Particle Accelerator went to work on my 1960 P with flats tonight (and also a 6-string with Nordy Big Singles to great effect, but that's old news). Its low boost pushes some low mids that present naturally on a P bass, so it reinforced some generous sonic content and let me just live in that range. Two guitarists and a creative keyboardist couldn't put up a wall to stop me from thundering my place in the mix. And they thanked me for it.

For some reason my business cards don't say "Señor Sushi" as my title. I think I may need to change that, it has a nice ring to it.
So I spend a lot of time on a pedal-building forum, and every time you post a picture of a pedal there people ask to see the guts, so in case anyone was curious, here's the guts of a Slampegg Bee Pre and a Dr. Wattson:
Do the top mounted enclosures just shift everything downward slightly? Or is it the same location for knobs?
Everything is shifted downward slightly. The first couple I did shifted down quite a bit, but I've started using different jacks so they don't have to move down as much. It looks awkward if I leave too much space up top, my wife says it looks like the pedal has a huge forehead
I should start getting into the top mounted ones today, I'll post pics when I get to them.
