As soon as that la1a design get's hammered out I'm jumping on board. I've been toying with ditching my hyper luminal for the effectrode as I missed my ehx blackfinger's tube warmth that thing was just too noisey and the powersupply sucked. The effectrode price, size, and lack of metering are what have kind of held me back so far so if this new design can nail the tone with the di metering and added features I'm 100% on board doesn't hurt that I live like 45 minutes away from west Dundee either so I could probably just meet up in person rather then deal with shipping.
And frankly when I get a prototype together you'd be more than welcome to swing by and try it if you like. There are a lot more musicians in the Chicago area than in the last town I was living in, I was thinking about doing "shop tours" and inviting people to come and try out some pedals. Little weird with the pandemic and whatnot, but I'm still thinking about offering it on a small scale.
All enclosures for October have been powdercoated and engraved, final assembly is happening TODAY.
