No rush from me on my SBVT. Take as much time as you need!
After 14 months of rest, I broke out my gig rig (minus the second 12”), and it was luscious. Made two changes, added a cioks PSU, and a Westinghouse. Before the WH, every component of this rack was super clean. The Westinghouse does exactly what I’d hoped and expected, that tasty little smigde of tubeness, that pleasing nostalgic distortion.
LWA1000 fx send > Alembic SF-2 > fDeck HPF-3 > Keeley Bassist (limiting the peaks) > Westinghouse (high voltage) > fx return > Epifani UL112.
General observations, Hot Damn!! the SF-2 is a freakishly awesome device, why, I can’t even.........
The Westinghouse performs excellently in this application. I can’t imagine ever using it in low voltage mode. A waste of a toggle switch IMHO.
I desperately need to play with people again.

In case anyone is wondering why they haven't received a shipping notice yet, I'm running a little behind schedule due to feeling a bit under the weather for part of the weekend and not wanting to work when I don't trust my brain to be firing on all cylinders. I feel better today and am hoping to finish everything up today/tonight and start shipping. So current status:
46 total pedals for the month (extras due to SBVT push backs and special cases)
26 completely finished, waiting for final testing
12 mostly finished, waiting for power/in-out jack wiring then final testing
1 mostly finished, waiting on parts order (the customer knows about it)
2 LRX waiting on switch wiring, the dual footswitch in a small box is a little annoying so I procrastinate it
5 SBVT that will be finished after everything else, estimated completion is Friday for those
So I apologize for the delay, but I will do everything I can to get them out as quickly as I reasonably can while keeping consistent quality and thorough testing.

Hmm. Could the Westinghouse serve as a pure clean boost into a Particle Accelerator? Like to even out the volume of a lower output bass? Or is that kinda wasting it's capabilities? Or is that too much toobz?
You are aware of which thread you're in, right?
That's kind of what I do with mine. It's a first in line clean tubey boost feeding other dirt.
It could, but it’s not 100% clean. IMO the tonal change is subtle, and it's a desirable enhancement tho. Mine is in the mail back to Sr Sushi for the switch mod right now, and I already miss it.

Actually, I'm now using my Dr. Wattson in the same way (Not as clean as the Westinghouse). I play passive basses only, and having some harmonic enhancement before a boatload of other pedals gives me some magic. I am struggling right now with choosing between the two. Particularly since I am running it all into a Sonic Farm 2id4 which has a pentode mode (just like the Westinghouse). As I write this, I am considering letting go of the Westinghouse. Ouch! did I just write that out loud?
Super quick update for May: I have my wife on soldering duty finishing up the jack soldering, I'm starting on final testing for the ones that are done so I can get to buttoning them up and starting packaging. On schedule for finishing everything tonight, probably shipping tomorrow.
I mean, even tomorrow puts you 8 days ahead of your advertised deadline. I still call that pretty awesome, even if it's a day or two more beyond tomorrow

As long as no one makes any drastic changes to their orders for June I may actually be able to have June orders ready by June 10. We'll see how tired I am after I finish May though 
Right, forgot about that. Everything excluding SBVTs. Those are still a couple days out.
Ah okay. Just think tho, when I get mine I'll finally shut up about it lol
So I have to make a correction to a previous statement I made regarding King Nothing: I actually found a setting to get a good bass tone out of it. I still wouldn't say it's the be-all end-all bass preamp, but with the gain low (9:00-ish) and the Lows switch in the fattest position (down) you can get a nice warm clean, and with the mode switch you can switch in some extra grit. I personally still wouldn't put it above PAX or Slampegg, but it's usable and pleasant sounding for sure.
