The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Is that the September batch ? :wideyed:
Where is my SBVT Box !
Tell me there's more boxes :help:
Oh, there are sooooo many more boxes. There are 33 builds this month, I'm about 1/3 of the way finished right now.

Ah man, the Space Heater box I never got...sniff...
Would it make you feel better knowing it's also the attenuator version of Space Heater? Good reason to pick up another :P

I need to do an inventory of the Sushi pedals I have now and then annoy @Sushi Box FX until he sells me a stamped white box for each one. Problem is, most of mine are discontinued so he probably doesn't have a stamp for them :(
I mean I could totally sell the boxes separately, and stamps take all of 15 minutes to make, but you'd be paying for me to ship an empty box.

Making those stamps, is it messy as I remember it? I went down that rabbit hole a while back, its all stars and stickers until you're scaping rubber off your exhaust lol

Yup, it's pretty messy. I've found that if I keep the air assist on while engraving it sprays the melted rubber in one direction, so I only have it on one surface of the enclosure. Contain the mess a bit :P

I hope no one minds, I took a couple hours away from working on September batch last night to work on the Fluffy Kitten demo, I'm hoping to finish it up today and get it posted sometime this weekend. Here's a sneak peek of my settings on bass:

So I just realized that today is September 30. I have the day off work tomorrow so I can stay up late and finish up the September batch and ship tomorrow, then I can start ordering stuff for October.

As such, ORDERING FOR THE OCTOBER BATCH WILL BE CLOSING AT 11:59PM CENTRAL TIME TONIGHT.

No Fluffy Kittens for the October batch?
Afraid not, they're going to be a limited run. I'm planning to build them in between finishing September batch and starting October batch, my "waiting for parts" stage. Should be about a week.

Also I finished recording drums for the Fluffy Kitten demo (every good demo needs drums) and I'm mixing it right now. I'll get it posted sometime tonight. Stay tuned....

Cool.

Hai you tried doing a mock-up of the graphics printed over white?
Not yet, but I think that's what I'm doing to do for the actual run of them. As cool as it is to have the translucence over the raw enclosure, the colors would just pop a lot better over a white background.

Also I just finished exporting the demo video (took like 45 minutes to process, I need a new computer), I'll get it uploaded shortly then posted here....
