If you did a Particle Accelerator with top jacks, I’d buy another one. Just throwing that out there.

what about bottom mounted jacks? (JK).

I listened to the demos on the site (THANK YOU for using a loop on them!) and honestly they all sound great.

for someone currently using a para driver (and mostly happy w it) and who moves regularly between blues/classic rock gigs and more indie rock type stuff, between the slampegg and the particle which do you think would be more versatile? passive basses only.

I only own an active bass, maybe I need to pick up another one for testing? :P Anyway that's a tough call, they're both really flexible but both different. I really like the single-tube preamps on bass because they have enough gain to drive a little, but they have so much usable clean headroom for straight tone shaping. I think the Particle Accelerator might be a little cleaner, and it has the TMB tonestack instead of just Bass/Treble, and personally I find that more useful than Ultra-Hi/Bright/Ultra-Lo switches. So I would lean toward Particle Accelerator, but your tastes may vary.

In the past a multi-effect box ("Octopus") was available.

When some of the dust settles, it may be offered again, along with others, according to comment in the "News" section of the Sushiboxfx webpages.

Right, forgot to answer that one. I am planning to offer the Octopus again as soon as I get around to talking to the distributor for the chips on that one. The Octopus uses the FV-1 digital processor which is amazing, I just never kept a huge stock on hand. I'll get around to that soon-ish.

Also in case anyone was wondering, the November slots are now sold out. Also 4 December slots have already sold, so I guess I won't be cancelling December, but if I decide I need more time I may just decrease the number of slots. I'm not planning to open January's list yet because I'm still working on some changes I've been wanting to make for a while.

Basically as soon as slots started selling I've been thinking about how I can use the money to improve my building process, and my new CNC machine arrived yesterday. That will help with both accuracy and speed of drilling, as my current CNC was always a bit underpowered for the job. I'm currently in discussions with my boss (my wife) about a UV printer, which will give a lot more options for artwork, including color printing over the powdercoated boxes.

So with all that in mind I'm also planning a bump in prices starting January to account for the increased quality that comes from the new machines. It won't be a huge bump, but I'm thinking $150 for single-tube designs, $175 for double-tube designs, and $200 for triple-tube designs. I've been told people are willing to pay more, but this isn't my day job, this isn't what pays my bills and feeds my family. I like making money because it helps me buy more gear, but I also like being an affordable brand, something high-quality that you don't need to be a professional to afford.

Uv printers are a chunk of change. You can get a cheaper China one but it’s a crapshoot. You can also build your own converting a regular printer. Good luck!

I'll see what I can do :P A lot of it is apparently going to depend on my supplier's stock, I just completely cleaned them out of 125B enclosures. They only had 17 in stock, but they're getting more in a week or two.
