These are just prototypes for now, but I have a pretty decent record with prototypes working well. Everything in the October batch with the exception of PA was on a v0 board that happened to work the first try, and frankly if the only thing I'm changing in a circuit is the tube, chances are pretty good it will work as-is. Obviously I'm more nervous about the Deep Dish Compressor as I've never built one, but I still have my original to compare it to in case I still have things to work out.
Right, forgot to answer that part. I'm still thinking about that, they may come later. They'll definitely have to go in a larger box if they do come. The single tube X pedals fit in a 125B, but if I go for double tube I think probably 1590BB

I think they should be ready by the end of the year. I love tube rolling as well. That’s why I changed my two pedals in January to both of the Xs.
I don't think so, if I remember right my original intention was to open the first three months and see how it went, but October sold out in about an hour, and it's all gone downhill from there
I'm hoping not to get into Analogman territory where people are waiting over a year for a build. If there's that much demand going to have to add slots and figure things out. Even with express shipping the boards will take about a week to get to me, then it will probably be at least another week or so testing them, and obviously there may still be changes needed so I can't promise they'll even be ready for December. I'm going to stick to my original plan and hold them off until January.I'm okay with this, but probably just December. I'd love to keep November as-is since parts have already been ordered and I've gotten started.
I would have no intention of complicating things for you. Buuuuuut. That said any of you Dec slots wanna trade for a Jan let me know! Haha

Isn't the slampeg a b15 model? Thats what you after right? I just got a PA and its great, but has a very particular drive, if you run it clean it adds great tube warmth though. I'm learning the fender stack/gain really isn't supposed to drive much, it almost is buzzy, and this isn't just with the PA, SSDI, F1X do the same, my alembic wouldn't hardly drive at all unless you used something before it to raise the level

I"m also looking forward to the Slampegg since it's a double and it will accommodate my Rob Allen dual output.
FT is very comparable to the EQ section of the P15, but the tube/tranny combo beats the jfet stages hands down, but if you were to really need a entire b15 in a pedal format its very nice, and entertaining. I have both, and currently the P15s on (and oddly enough I'm using the thru for my Particle Accelerator lol) but I do enjoy the Fliptop, I just don't see a instance where I would use it outside of recordingYeah i have no interest in trying for a flip top on the next launch LOL. I think I’d rather buy and actual fliptop
