The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Definitely not the N. I owned a B-15R (the modern reissue before the Heritage line) that had those switches. I played a few S years ago but the B-25B definitely had them. Point being, the B-15S/B-25B was always slightly different from the classic B-15N to begin with due to the different tube config. I left my B-25B stock with 7027As; I never went the 6550 route.

So it's nice that what is being offered up is not just a typical '60s B-15N clone.

EDIT:
OK, I'm wrong. Looks like the later 70s models had those switches. TIL.

I believe they were actually added in '68. There's a 1970 model for sale on Reverb right now that has them.

The only 70s version of the B-15 I've ever played is the S. My N is a '63 ;) The SB-12 and the B-18 I had also didn't have those switches.

The one you're mentioning on Reverb looks like someone urinated on the outside grill cloth lol

Got my PA and got to hear about two minutes but it's going to be a while before a get to put it through it's paces. Small house. Wife and daughter working from home. You get the picture. Early impressions are great. I sold an SLO on spec that this would be good and I have no regrets. I don't need it for grit and I always had trouble with the SLO breaking up too early on low gain. Not an issue with this thing. Plenty of clean gain to work with.

Nice! What are you planning on using for power?
Since I only have one on order so far I'm just going to go with a One Spot.

Yeah, probably a CS12. The board I want them on has a Cioks Ciokolate currently, and I don't think that will cut it.

That Slampegg color combo is sweet!

Thanks! Green is my favorite color and I was excited to see the case come out as well as it did!

It has arrived! The metallic black is fantastic looking!

Get mine tomorrow, how's the gain/breakup? Haven't found many fender stacks with nice linear gain

Not to detract from the excitement of everyone getting their October builds, but I wanted to let everyone know that you only have about a week to make changes on your November orders, I'm getting ready to start ordering things so I can get building.

Do you have any examples of the new paint options?
Not yet, the new powders are still sitting in a box in my garage :P I don't think I have enough scrap enclosures to try out all of them, but I'll see what I can do about getting those together in the next couple days.

So I'm still offering everything listed on the website, plus:
  • Pink
  • Violet Sparkle
  • Illusion Orange
  • Illusion Royal
  • Fractured Cherry
  • Illusion Apple Sugar
  • Rainbow's End
Man those illusion colors are fun. Can't wait to see it actually on a pedal!
I ordered an apple sugar Partical Accelerator for Nov, so if you need an example for that there ya go! I definitely won't be changing that order

As long as you promise, I may actually take you up on that, makes things a little easier for me and I'm not wasting powder :)
