That's strange, as I don't lose any low end on the blue channel, and I can add a lot more bass to it than I would ever need.

That's not right. The blue channel normally has TONS of bass and sounds great on its own. I know a guy here that can help you out with that.
If I keep the gain low on blue it helps keep the lows but it's almost impossible to find unity or even close to it with the red channel. Now the smoke into my little bastard tube amp is a whole nother story.
That was just the s s by itself which I'll never do anyways. I need to try it with the record into my interface and some amp/cab sims

So, totally random and off the subject.... But I recently acquired a Space Heater through a trade. I have always wanted to check one out so I'm excited to do so! For those of you that use them, what is your preference placement wise? Early in the chain, late in the chain? Anyone use one to drive a power amp?
Also, I remember way back in the W-house days there was some love for stacking SH and Westy. Spacehouse it was casually referred to. Anyone who was doing that at the time, were you running SH>W or W>SH?
Of course I will do my own experimenting -- Just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts, suggestions, input, etc

And I'd imagine most people are fine waiting, but at the very least I need to verify that all of the boards I have are working (defective boards are rare but possible) before I choose names to make sure I don't draw more than I can build right now. I have every reason to expect 19 working boards, but board-level (not component level or solder level) failures do occur sometimes in manufacturing.
I was thinking about doing a random number generator, but I'm leaning toward writing all the numbers on paper and have my kids take turns pulling them out of a hat.

I haven't spent much time here but I just got a new P/J bass so....
Well I changed my mind, I'm not going to kill myself finishing the handwired Space Heaters tonight. I'll draw 19 names tomorrow with the assumption that all 19 boards I have work. If one is bad then I'll give up my personal unit to replace it, if more than one are bad then I'll see who would be okay waiting an extra couple weeks for me to order more boards to replace the bad ones

But I'm tired, I'm going to shower and go to bed. I have work in the morning, so I need to stop staying up late (which I remind myself every single day without much success).

Because you're a small business and there is a high risk that you'll be left holding the bag when your unstable and highly unpredictable customer base decides you're not the Kool Kid on the block anymore.
