hmmm. even my newer sushi pedals whine when run on a single power supply so i highly recommend isolated ones.
The old issue with running multiple Sushi’s isn’t quite a whine, more like a scream. Very loud noise. The small amount of noise I notice sometimes now is easily taken care of with a LPF or cabsim

If an isolated power source doesn't solve the issue and the pedals were made before Nov/22, there is a "fix" that the Sushi Master can do to remedy the problem, if you pay shipping.
Yep, I've been down that road. The only pedal that needed the wire moved was my PA. My More was made Sept/22 but after sending the sushi master a picture of the guts, he said it was a good one he had already started wiring them with the post fix.

Sushi Box FX: Is fractured cherry still "a thing" as per the web site? If I remember correctly, you were you pulling it and adding the purple sparkly as the current custom choice in addition to prismatic cosmos? I'd like to place an order and want the purple haze thing for sure. How should I proceed? Thx.

I've always been interested in Sushi boxes, but thought the limited monthly ordering thing was a bit inconvenient. However, I just noticed the in-stock collection on the website and damn that makes it hard to resist! Either the Elementary or the Slampegg would tickle my fancy. Or both (modern & vintage flavors for variation?).

Has anyone been able to compare the Elementary with the UA soundwise?

Got a More today to what is the final piece of my jigsaw. I planned to put it basically last in chain and couldn't be happier with it. It does so much for me..... and more! (Sorry couldn't resist)

Derek did the mod for me as well which was super cool of him to do so. Cheers!

And cheers to tubey goodness!

I'm leaving cherry as an option for now, I'm planning to pull it at the end of the month. I already have a custom order pending with it, so I figure I'll leave it in for another week in case anyone wants to get in on it.

I've just added Dirty Magic (the sparkly purple) as an option for custom builds, so that's available now. I don't have pictures of it yet, but I'll try to get some soon.

I'd like a More in Cherry!
Still an option, get it while it lasts ;)

Custom Shop Order – Sushi Box FX

Hopefully someone besides me can weigh in as well, but I've always liked Elementary as it has a bit more gain than UA so it has a little extra bite, it can get a nice modern grinding tone with the gain up, or it can just run clean and fat like the UA with the gain down. The Hiwatt tonestack is a little different than the Fender/Marshall/Vox stack in that there is no "flat" setting, there is always a pronounced mid-dip right around 250Hz, which I personally find sonically pleasing.
