Love that compact board. The Slampegg really intrigues me.. How does it stack up to the ampeg clones that have recently come out (origin, ampegg) Would love to see some comparison video! Being in the UK i tend to look out for some good Sushi deals over here and do hope to try one, although i did snag Nathan's Space Heater on garage sale

I have not compared the Slampegg to the Origin or the Ampeg, I'm sure they are good enough in their own right. All I can say is that the Slampegg sounds great on its own merit and it does include a real tube (valve) as did the original B15 preamp, as the Origin and Ampeg do not. I was able to experiment with the Slampegg and find the model of tube that sounded best to my ears (12AU7) which gives me the ability to regulate the gain stage of the pedal to suit my needs. The Slampegg nails the classic Ampeg sound and vibe as I remember it from my past experience. From a price standpoint the Slampegg offers a tremendous value and bang for the buck. Its construction is first class and customer support is superb. If you can get one, I think you will be quite satisfied with it... good luck.

Discovered today that dime-ing my new More into the active/-15dB input of my Ampeg results in even more-better tube goodness. Enhanced detail at higher volume without driving the amp's input gain. More clean volume out of a 50W amp.

Nope, he actually came by in person and picked it up yesterday, along with Grand Slampegg.

The contents are 3x Venus X, 1x More, and 1x Finally.

It's actually rear wheel drive, so I'm not even sure how the front tires got so chewed up. The back will surely shred soon enough, I upgraded it to run on Ryobi 18V battery packs so it has a lot more torque than the stock 12V battery. It's still just a toy, but now it's a toy that will do 8mph.
