The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Nope, he actually came by in person and picked it up yesterday, along with Grand Slampegg.

The contents are 3x Venus X, 1x More, and 1x Finally.

Good to hear! They are both on my wish list :)
Thanks Nathan, I’ve spent a few hours last night and today with all 3 pedals.

I’m going to be gigging the Grand Slampegg tomorrow at the Roscoe Village Burger Fest, with Too Fighter, going through my IEM’s.

I made a special patch for it today that I will be using with my Pod Go.

It's actually rear wheel drive, so I'm not even sure how the front tires got so chewed up. The back will surely shred soon enough, I upgraded it to run on Ryobi 18V battery packs so it has a lot more torque than the stock 12V battery. It's still just a toy, but now it's a toy that will do 8mph.

Surprised you haven’t put tubes in it.

Also, we’re you so committed to the pedal building thing that you picked a house super close to the Post Office, or was it just serendipity?

I see the first Femme F1 driver/champ inshallah.

So then.. what's grand slampegg like then??? Spill the beans! :D

Nathan are you still making the Space Heater?
As noted Space Heater in all its varieties has been discontinued. UA with the tonestack bypass and Finally both cover the same circuit, so it was done in an effort to slim the lineup.

It is very smooth and present. It has a very punchy and tube like compression across all the strings.

I want it.
Glad to hear it. When I revisited it the other day I was reminded of how much I enjoyed it. I don't expect you to find any issues with it, but definitely let me know if you do.

The only issue I see so far is having to give it back.

Man! I did not know that! Damn I would have bought a Finally if I had

Quick note on Finally, it's currently listed as out-of-stock and available for backorder as I technically don't have any boxed up and ready to go, but I do have 6 almost finished (need about 15 minutes of labor each) Finally units that I expect to finish tomorrow, so if you place a backorder (as someone did today) you'll see it shipping fairly quickly.

Unfortunately there are a number of enclosures that are out of stock, including Underground Accelerator, Slampegg, Dreamcatcher, Detective, and JC Emerald. A large enclosure order was placed July 6, so I'm hoping to have those all available soon, especially since I saw a UA backorder come in today.

I use mine basically in the “flat response without the gain boost” mode, with just a touch of bass and treble rolled in, before the input of my PodGo. To my ears it sweetens the signal going in. I then run the output of the PodGo into a Finally which, again to my ears, brings an organic feel to the final signal going to the board.

@voodooproducer For my needs the Underground Accelerator is the perfect sounding preamp ranging between vintage warmth and modern clean. The classic Fender tone stack offers a wide range of tone shaping and can be bypassed for more output or clarity. The gain control allows saturation adjustment levels from crispy clean through fully crunchy with the perfect tone and tube squash, you might not even need a compressor, I don't.
