I have well over 200 actual playing hours on mine and it's totally reliable, sounds great, and is studio quiet. It's wonderfully simple and with its' tube preamp out capability, a real winner.

This!! I'm not a Sushi Box owner (yet!) but this thread is so interesting because of the free flow of info between builder and customers/audience. Unparalleled on TB as far as I'm aware.

I find that @rratajski @ Fuzzrocious and Source Audio guys are very good at engagement and support, but nothing compares to @Sushi Box FX

I just received my 12AU7 tube. How do I get the old tube out? I'm trying to pull it out but it's pretty tight on there. I dont see any glue or anything around the base. Should I just continue to use more force?

I use a guitar pick to help walk it out. Slowly going back and forth.

I use a sharpened chop stick to push up the bottom of the tubes between the socket and base of the tube, there is a gap between the pins. Usually once it is loose it comes out easy.

Yup, if anyone is considering fileting their thumb with a chop saw, I 100% do not recommend it.

Depends how many more backorders I get I have 3 Underground Accelerator builds on the workbench that will be finished in the next couple hours, but 2 are already spoken for with backorders. I have 3 more mostly built, but I'm missing parts that won't be here until Friday. So the orders already placed will ship today, and the next 4 orders after those will be ready to ship this week.

Yup, Space Heater is identical to the preamp section of Finally, just without the D.I.

Speaking of Finally, I'm running low on circuit boards which means it's time to think about modifying it before I order more boards. I don't want to do anything major as I'm thrilled with Finally as it is and have received nothing but positive comments on it.

But there's a quick question that someone brought up in an email that got me thinking, please take a look and cast a vote: Market input for D.I. outputs
