Finally isn't really based on the Alembic though, it's just two generic gainstages with large cathode bypass caps and large coupling caps to accommodate a nice wide frequency response. With everything else removed from the circuit it becomes difficult to call it one thing over another. It has as much in common with the Alembic as it does with an SVT at that point. It's everything and nothing, all at once.
Having looked at both the LA-1A and the LA-2A schematic, I can tell you the LA-1A actually has very little to do with how the LA-2A works. It's more of an "inspired by" than "based on".
