Uhhhhhhh....what was the problem??? My DC is the foundation of my tone on the board I usually use and I am having no issue with it whatsoever.

It wasn't an issue with the existing design, I had revised Dreamcatcher for 350V operation and it introduced some complication into it. I ended up just having to swap a component, the tricky bit was figuring out which component and what to swap it for.

I start with the gain and tones at noon and adjust from there to the sweet spot to my ear.
Nominal flat for the BMT is 0-10-0 is another starting spot.

Flat on the the UA's Fender tone stack is 0, 10,0....I find starting there helpful. If you boost bass and/or treble, a mid cut inevitably results, so compensate for that by boosting mids on your bass or amp if desired. Depending on the bass, I usually end up with bass at noon and treble somewhere between 9:00 and noon. I push the gain until I have the desired amount of harmonics/fur, then I set the volume such that it's the same with the pedal engaged or not, so I can hear the real difference without a volume boost. Have fun.

For a passive precision I have the gain at 1 o’clock, mids slightly cut at noon, and bass slightly boosted around 10 o’clock. Since I have the tone rolled off on the precision the UA treble has no affect on my sound.

Not trying to say that this sound doesn't work really well for you, but to call that a "slight" mid cut is quite wide of the mark. Flat mids is fully turned up (there is no mid boosting available on this circuit), so having it only at noon is quite the pronounced scoop. And then add any further bass or treble boosting, and you are only enhancing how deep that mid cut goes.

Again, I'm sure it works great, but I wouldn't call that a "slight cut" by any means!

Set the UA flat, turn your bass volume and tone all the way up and start from there. When you get the tone you want, then roll off the bass tone knob to take off some of the edge. Starting out with the bass tone control off, you are essentially putting a sock in the UA's mouth and reducing the instruments level output somewhat.
The UA takes some tweaking but when you get used to it, you will really dig it. You will want to adjust the output gain so the volume is the same with the pedal on or off, when dealing with other effects in the chain.

If you raise the treble on your eq, it will result in a mid-cut even if the tone knob on your bass is off.

Anyone else got any feedback on the Finally V2? Maybe it’s been a minute, but to me, it seems the new transformer slams a little bit harder than the old one. Seems to have a bit more weight to it, but it might just be me. This is a positive in my eyes.

Totally understandable! My bass/amp/cab combo is slightly mid-forward, and there are other places on my board where mids can be boosted, so having the mids either flat, or slightly scooped out on the UA (or LU in my case) actually provides a pleasing balance.

Dial the mids too far back, and one disappears in the mix. So finding balance is key!

I’ve found SushiBox pedals to have pretty subtle response with mids and treble. To my ears it’s somewhere around 5-10db boost/cut. Nowhere near the usual 15db on my other preamp pedals.

I’m good. I wouldn’t get it. I’m just a simple caveman banker. Your world of high tech transformers, capacitors, and tubes frightens and confuses me.
