Will the Furthermore have the same separate XLR out level control and HPF as the Finally V2?

The separate XLR level control found on Finally v2 will be the standard on everything I make with a D.I. output, I think it just makes sense both operationally and from a design perspective. The plan (and a large part of the delay) is to have variable HPF and LPF as part of Furthermore, so it will not be the same as the fixed-frequency HPF found on Finally v2.

Wait, I thought the flanger was going to be on the FurtherCascade.

Nope, I'm actually going for a modified inductor-based Baxandall stack where bass, treble, and mids are all boost/cut. Nothing against all of Fender's work, but I for one would be a little disappointed if I waited this long for a shiny new pedal and it was another Fender tonestack.

Cascade is going to be sorted very very soon. There was a gentleman at NAMM on saturday that came by every couple hours asking me to sell the prototype him. He emailed me the Monday after the show asking if I was ready to sell it yet. He emailed again Thursday. He emailed again this morning.

Basically my plan is to do a final playthrough of Cascade and make sure I'm happy with the sound. If I am, I'll build a couple more units (I have enclosures for 3 more builds on hand) and compare them to the prototype to make sure my notes on the modifications from the base design are accurate. If so, I'll start getting them ready for sale.

The Slampegg came in. It has kicked my small format Barber Linden & Edison off the board already, which is what I hoped to scale down a bit.

I know I asked about the power requirements the other day and I know I am OK at 500ma. But the other day I ordered a current doubler and found out it's not in stock. Would I gain anything by using a current doubler other than a quicker warmup time?

You really won't be gaining anything with a current doubler aside from quicker warmup time. When the tube is warmed up the pedal will pull around 350mA, regardless of whether it has 500mA or 1000mA available to it.

I decided I didn't love it and wanted to take the preamp section in a different direction, but I haven't gotten around to respinning the circuit boards because NAMM.
