The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Pssht, still got 2 months and 11 days to do that!
Yeah I know, but my accountant is a very good accountant, so I do what I can to keep her as happy as possible, and it tends to go well for me. Generally the closer to the deadline it gets, the busier she gets, so she encourages me to get things together early.

Also I'm easily distracted, so I can only work on this stuff for an hour or so at a time before I spot something shiny and wander off, so if I don't start early then I may not make it :P

I can so relate to this...
I'll add (and its been said before) your undisguised honesty is refreshing, to say the least.
Cheers to that!

I'm considering getting a More. I have an Edison already. How similar are they? My plan was to replace the Edison with the More if I liked it, uh, more.
I don't have an Edison anymore so I can't A/B the sound of the two, but I can tell you the general purpose of the two is similar, largely transparent tube warmth. From a technical perspective, Edison uses an EF86 tube (one stage) and More uses a 12AU7 (parallel gainstage) and 12AT7 (parallel output buffer stage). Edison runs the tube at 27V, More runs the tubes at 350V.

I'm obviously biased in the conversation as I'm proud of what I make, but I personally prefer More.

I’ve had both (correction, still have my Mores). Edison might be better if you want to overdrive your tone and get some grit.

More for *more* warmth and fatness to your tone. To me, much more immediately noticeable.

My 2 cents, FWIW.

Got the shipping confirmation for my Finally and UA, can't wait for them to arrive.

On an unrelated note, I got to try out an SIB Echodrive pedal yesterday, I'd love to see the Sushi Box take on that kind of pedal, it was pretty amazing sounding.
Slow down there, my tube analog chorus and tube analog flanger still need tweaking, I haven't even started on my tube analog delay.

Tube Analog Delay? Taking pre-orders?
