Capn - my bad. I had already assigned #6 to someone in a PM and forgot. You're #7.

This rocks! I live in a very rural area and was despairing over not being able to jam with other musicians. I live on three acres, the nearest neighbor is hundreds of feet or more away, and I have 30 by 30 empty heated workshop to practice in! Just nobody to play with, D'oh!
If it was more urban, I would have access to a music scene, but nowhere to play.
LOL
It's crack......crack I tell you!!!
I spent all of my Saturday online jamming with keyboardists from Italy, drummers from England, guitarists from the Phillipines, and even a guitarist from the US.
Wow!! There are so many different styles of music.
What a great way to become affluent in all of these different styles.

Wow! You really had quite the weekend. I had a blast Saturday and Sunday and never made it outside the country. How was the latency/drop-out with the folks from way far away? What kinds of music did you encounter? Did you encounter any language barriers? What a fascinating experience you must have had! Congrats!

Generally, I'm getting ok results. I get some dropouts but overall, the latency is small/manageable.
One think I find is that I'm getting too self-conscious. I find myself NOT joining jams because frankly, I can't improvise my way out of a wet tissue bag.

Last night I hopped onto eJamming after about a weeks absence.
I was Jamming with someone in the N.E. US with constant cut outs. It was very distracting. I tried to manually adjust my synch time which worked for small periods of time.
What have others been experiencing?
I just tried it, and had all sorts of problems getting my port forwarded....
