I need to know more about how your router is set up. You need to have port forwarding set up with the Start port set to 26900 and the End port also set to 26900 with the Service Type set to TCP/UDP, and the port should be forwarded to the LAN IP for your workstation. Hope this helps. The next time you're on look for me and if I'm not on talk to one of the support folks or Thunderpup44 - he's the owner of the company. They're only to happy to help you get everything working right.

I've gone into my 2Wire router settings, and it says the port is forwarded in there after messing with it, but alas, it isn't really.
I'm also using a 2wire router provided by ATT U-verse, in setting up the port forward there is also a list on the same page with a drop down to select which computer the port is mapped to, if yours is similar, make sure you choose the computer your using off that list.
Yeah, I think I have the right computer selected, but there are about twenty to chose from, and a lot are similar because of new installations of OSes. I've jumped around from Ubuntu to Windows and back a few times...
Use ipconfig /all from the command prompt on the computer that you're trying to forward the port to. That should give you the correct LAN address. You could also go into the TCP/IP settings on the ethernet card on your workstation and hard configure the IP to avoid losing the forwarding after a change in IP from DHCP after a reboot. If you need some help with this, let me know and I can walk you through it.

This is some amazing software. Had an excellent session tonight with a guitar player and a drummer. The host was geographicaly close to me and there was very little if any latency.
The host did some recording, with layers and overdubs all within the software, I discovered the live and playback mixer knobs, I'm just blown away. I don't get the opportunity to play out much and this is filling the gap very well.

Well, I received a reminder email from eJamming about the beta test period ending soon to get my discount. Decided to finally get off my duff and pull the trigger and buy a decent interface to finally get going on this. I bought the Firestudio Project from PreSonus.
After some pain in the beginning, I got everything working consistently. The pain was worth it. It is really, really cool. Had a session this afternoon with 2 guitarists - one in Spain and the other in Russia. ZERO latency and only a few dropouts in a 30-minute jam session. All in all a pretty cool deal.
Later on I joined a session with a chap in London (cartman) who is a volunteer tech support guy for eJamming. We did not jam, but I basically just picked his brain for about an hour on everything I could think of about eJamming. Super nice guy and he was happy to share his expertise.

Hey! Glad to hear that you had such a great experience. I have to get on tonight. I've yet to try out the new interface and am excited to tryout the new features and the improvements. Your update tells me that they've really done a great job with the connectivity. This is very exciting news. Thanks!

I'm thinking of purchasing a Zoom B9.1ut. Will the sampling rate, ASIO driver etc, be what I need to use with ejamming?
I really don't know anything about the B9, but from what I do know, the ASIO driver is the key to eJamming. You can download the client and I believe there's a free trial for eJamming. You can use that to talk to some of the eJamming technical support folks that hang out in the eJamming Lobby.

With eJamming - can you remain incognito, or use it to rehearse/jam with just the individuals you want? Interested in checking it out for rehearsal with a singer I'm working with, but not so interested in others listening in, or joining the session, etc.
Seems weird that there's so little info avail to explain stuff like my question above... !

You choose who you want to jam with. I haven't been on since the beta ended, but you create a jam session and either open it for anyone to join or lock it and only invite the people you want to jam with.
