Hello everyone... since there seems to be a rather large contingent of "2112" usernames here on TB, I thought I'd start a group to get us all together. Only one membership criterion here: your TB username must contain "2112".

Here's to looking forward to expressing my ridiculous Rush fanaticism as a bassist with all future Temple members!

Hey Bc... there are a bunch of so-called clubs on Talkbass that follow specific topics... such as Jazz Bass owners, or Trace Elliot amp owners. Some are more serious, this one is more tongue-in-cheek... this one is open to those TB users whose usernames contain 2112. If you'd like to become a member, all you have to do is post a request for a club number. And being the Club owner I'll assign you a number. And that's it.

Being a member of a club doesn't really give you any specific recognition or privilege, it just identifies as part of a group meeting the criteria set aside for membership.

Here in the Temple of 2112, member and non-member fanboys talk about Geddy, his basses, and related topics. Humor and sarcasm is encouraged.

USA Geddy Lee Jazz, into a GNX3 workstation (built-in 8 track recorder). I forget the 'User Effect' I modified, but it's the same I used for a cover of "Closer To The Heart". Whatever it was, it fits.

Per @twocargar request, my Geddy Fleet: '87 Wal Mark 1, first run of Japanese Geddy signature Jazz (I wish I could find out with the serial # how early it was; I pre-ordered it the day after I read in Bass Player magazine they were being produced), and my 1975 4001 (bought new in 1985, serial # dates it to a '75.) Geddy preamp on floor behind.
