I’m really, really trying to resist the urge to try out a used bass at my local GC. I’m really about ready to cave though….

GC have already removed the case....We can only remove the cause….but not the symptom!![]()
What's wrong with playing a bass at a guitar shop?
If you don't try that bass, on your deathbed it may be the biggest regret of your life....never knowing if it was "The One". You may torture yourself by not knowing all the rest of the days of your life. Wait, you wanted us to talk you OUT of trying it?!?!?!?!?! Ok, that bass probably sucks.

Nope. I’m holding out for a better specimen. It was an old one too. Wilkinson Bridge…. 3206 Serial Number. Late 90’s?He didn't get it....
You will rest in peace now, congrats!Well, I checked it out. It’s a mess. Horribly setup. Dead, dead strings. The action was pretty high and the G String Saddle was as low as it can go. It’d probably need a shim. Anyway, if you’re looking for a cosmetically sweet Roscoe LG3005 at a great price, it’s there. I’m gonna pass. No deathbed regrets here.
