The Top Ten Things I Learned From Talkbass

There are really only two TB rules/universal truths:

1) everyone else is always right...always, others know best: never make any decision without consulting popular opinion

2) everything you do is wrong, and can be proved by anyone on the internet (who may or may not have ever had access to the item/action/experience in question)

and if there were another, it would be:

3) never ever ask a simple question in the amps forum and expect a reasonable, sensible answer before 8-10 pages of audiophile nonsense

Kind of the opposite of a 'sleeper'.
There was a 1978 Trans Am in town that had 6.6L decals on the shaker hood when it only had a 301 (4.9L) in it.
Kinda lame.
I used to hang with a guy who had a '67 Fairlane wagon. Metallic Babys#*t Brown, bench seat, 4 speed, 427.
This was factory stock! Lots of fun at the drag strip, even more so on the street. Total sleeper.
