I have fond memories of playing this (pretty badly) in my fist band back in the day. I can't believe our parents allowed use to sing these lyrics haha. We were too young to have any context for it. They were simpler times LOL
For me, probably Not Coming Down by Moe.

What Is And What Should Never Be, and Ramble On would be my two choices.
Thanks for all the answers so far. You've all either reminded me of great bass lines, or either suggested ones I should and will listen to before I give out my last breath. 
The reason why I personally chose Pink Floyd's One of These Days is that this bass line is probably the first time my brain ever registered bass.
It's so simple in its use of the electricity of the instrument... There's something magic about it in my ears.
I was maybe 14 or 15 when I attended a party at that super cute punk girl's dad's flat. At some point in the evening, that song was put on the turn-table.
I stopped frozen in my tracks: I'd known this bass line forever! It's then that I remembered my father excitedly listening to this album when I was a toddler.
Everything else comes after for me.
I've always listened to the bass. For as far as I can remember, when I whistle over a song, I whistle the bass. And One of These Days may be my atavistic bass impression.

I worked as a bouncer in a bar, listening to the same old dancing songs for 8 tiring years.
I could never tire of Billie Jean thanks to its bass.
Besides my initial selection, The Logical Song (Supertramp), I would include La Villa Strangiato by Rush...
