The invisikittehs are still in hiding, but one or both now have a full belly - the turkey cat food is gone and so is the canned chicken, the sardines were tasted, but the kippered herring snacks untouched (good - I don't have to share lolz). Happy tummies means happy kittehs!View attachment 5279260
Brought them home in separate carriers, they chilled like that with doors open facing each other for a while, then Merlin moved in with Matthew to snuggle and hide. Bonded pair 9 month old neutered maile brothers, virtually identical expect black and white, though Matthew has a grey smudge on his forehead - perhaps he's Catholic? Ash Wednesday's a long ways off yet though... I'll just let them chill while I bring in the rest of the stuff and get set up.
...had to wait for the home renovations to proceed enough downstairs that the outer shell of the house was properly sealed again, just got that going last week, holes all patched and insulation about half done now, time for kittehs! YAY!
Edit: forgot about this thread, been catless too long! Thanks mods for moving my post!!![]()
Just as well they didn't go for the sardines or kippers - adoption lady says they're off the menu, too salty (I shouldn't eat them either, but so yummy). FWIW. YMMV.
