This bass came up once before in the Classifieds and I missed it - but not this time!
I've owned 2 other Valenti's before and they've all been amazing basses, but this one is just something else. No pictures can do it justice.
It looks nice in the classified photos and on Valenti's website, but when I opened the case I literally said "Oh my God" out loud. This thing is just freaking gorgeous.
I've been playing it for the last few hours and it just sounds and feels amazing.
There's a Fender Elite 5 that I'm currently playing and the idea was to get another jazz bass similar in specs, but just lighter weight so I'm not killing my back or shoulder when standing for a long period of time. Don't get me wrong - I love my Fender - but this Valenti is just on a completely different level.
I've owned jazz basses that costs thousands of dollars more than this bass, but this bass would destroy them all. The neck, fretwork, fit and finish, tone, weight, and playability are just out of this world. I know it's lame to gush about a bass you just got, but I can't help myself. Definitely one of my best bass purchase decisions.
She’s a beauty! You can never go wrong with a Valenti. If you decide to move the Elite. Shoot me a PM. I have a killer bass you may be interested in trading for. We can meet at GC again and you could check it out if you like.
Quite lovely!!!NBD!!!

Thanks! Preamp is an Aguilar OBP-1 with vintage tone control. Pickups are Aguilar Super Singles. Both are standard features on the Verrazzano line.
Honestly I can’t tell a difference. Other than the limited options, IMO it’s equal to the full-on custom Valenti basses I have.Mark,
I am curious to hear your comparisons and opinions on the Verrazzano line compared to your other Valentis.
Well it was with a bit of sadness that I sent #57 off to a new home.
I got this bass 8 years ago when I didn’t know who/what Valenti was.
And so it began...I will always have a Valenti(s).
IMHO...The best value bass available anywhere.
So here’s to the new owner...You’re gonna love it.
