Hey everyone, I'm VERY excited to soon becoming a Valenti bass owner. I just sent my deposit in for my dream build. I'm married with 2 kids so saving money for a new bass, let alone a custom build isn't easy. I've been slowly saving for 2 years; all the while searching here on TB and elsewhere for the person to build my dream bass and I'm so confident that I've made the right choice! Here are my specs:

Passive VTJ5
Alder Body w/white Binding
Rear Rout
Black finish
Graphite reinforced Maple neck
Maple fretboard
Pearl Blocks w/white binding
Vintage Tint finish
Gloss headstock and board, satin on back of neck
35" scale, 12" Radius, 1-7/8 nut width, .780" @ 1st fret, 6130 frets

BWB & WBW pickguards w/additional black screws
Nordstrand NPJ5S set
Reverse P
J in 70's location
Traditional J knobs
VVT or VBT (haven't decided yet)

When I go home in December, I'll be picking up the bass in person at Casa Valenti. What a Christmas present!!!

A couple of updates since this post: I decided on V-V-T for the controls, instead of white body binding I will have a white "pinstripe" around the body (kind of like masking) and the P pickup will have the option of traditional position or reverse. I will have 4 (!) pickguards made - 2 W/B/W and 2 B/W/B.

Can't wait! December seems so far away!!!

very very impressed such a versatile combo and i think it can cover small to medium gigs and my new Valenti sounds awesome through it.

Nice! Yeah, my Valenti, #085, did the same thing. I made a horrible mistake and traded it for what I thought would be a better bass. I regret the day I ever sent it.
