Wow. I love a good blue finish, I usually prefer a transparent blue, but that maple top is just killer!! How about some pearl blocks on that neck?

If I end up ordering new (most likely at this point), I'm thinkin' this exact same bass except in a sunburst/cherryburst, possibly with a figured top. Oh my...

I'm in group 1.

Mine is a Lake Placid Blue 4 string with Alder Body.
Maple neck w/Rosewood Fretboard, Pearl Blocks and Cream Binding.
Chrome Hardware, Schaller tuners with a detuner on the E, and a Gotoh 201 bridge.

Mine was built when Nino was still using the Fender style headstock, and before he began numbering them.

The Inca Silver PJ is pushing me over the edge. Thanks to Andy for posting the outstanding soundclips. That really helps. I love that sound. Those Nordie Pickups have some really nice mojo. great growl, bite and punch.

I'm in group 2... ordered what is basically a geddy lee jazz, and should have that puppy sometime this month or next. I can't wait! Everything I read on talkbass about nino's work convinced me to pull the trigger on this order. And he is great to deal with as well, very polite and professional. Did I mention I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Swamp Ash Thunderbird body
Trans Brown Finish
Maple Neck with Birdseye fingerboard
Black dots,
1-1/2"@nut
34 " Scale
HipShot B Style bridge
HipShot ultralite tuners
Schaller straplocks
2 - Nordstrand Dual coil Pickups

Aguilar OP3 Preamp
"close to" Poon layout: (smaller control cavity)

Volume w/push pull for preamp bypass
Blend
Mids with w/p/p for Mid Shift
Treble/bass on Stacked pot.
2 mini switches for SC>DC operation

Man I can't wait!
