The Walking Dead: Season Five

Wow. That finale was a lot better than I thought it'd be! It seems that the Alexandrians were people living like the world is turning like the "good 'ol days" and that last night scene of the finale was their long-needed wake-up call. Awesomeness from Daryl as usual and its good to finally see Gabriel dealing with his past. And we all new that doctor had to die, he had all the characteristics of an hand grenade that didn't go off.

Thought Glenn was a goner this time.
Thought Aaron would get it at the car.
Thought Maggie would shoot Gabe when she took the rifle from Sasha......A true roller coaster ride all the way.

Good thing Rick got the 'Do it' from the boss lady before taking hubby out.

Too bad Glenn had to be the good guy, again.

I am wondering if the name "Morgan" is a tribute to the Vincent Price character "Dr. Robert Morgan" from the 1964 classic zombie movie "The Last Man On Earth". In that movie, the zombies only come out after dark and they can speak. When Dr. Morgan is boarded up in his house, they keep saying things such as, "Morgan, we're going to get you".

Going foreword, there's one thing I just don't see working out. Okay, great. Rick and our group convinced the Alexanderans they need to toughen up. But I can't see Rick giving up control and not being in charge. That's what came between him and Abraham.

Michonne straightened him out I think. Rick realized that he screwed up and can't be the control freak he was. He knows he's going to need help from all of his group to make it work at Alexandria, which is why he finally brought Michonne in on the gun thing.

When he discovers the gate open and hunts down the zombies that got in, bringing one to the meeting and plops it down in front of everyone, that said "See? I know what I'm talking about. You people need to wake up!". Brilliant.

I know, I know. No complaints. I'm just saying, I don't see Rick being anyone's number two.

"Come at me.......no? Yes?........no. "

Gotta admit, I liked that scene quite a bit.

When Rick said, "I don't want to lie anymore," Carol's reply was condescending. "You said you don't want to take this place and you don't want to lie? Oh Sunshine, you don't get both." I don't think I like where her character is heading. All she's doing is causing problems and manipulating people.
