The Walking Dead Series 2

I am not exactly sure what will come over Lori flipping the car over. Maybe it will impact her child, or if nothing else, just scare the crap out of her. The previews allude to some walkers being around the car.

That whole thing just felt so contrived on the writers part. Rick went into town with Glenn just to get Hershel back, and then he is gone for an hour or two and she flips out and has to go get him. Not to mention she didn't even know how to get into town if she needed to look at a map.

Maybe it was desperation and the seeds Shane had previously planted about Rick not being around, but I didn't see the logic or purpose behind it other than to make her crash her car.

Other than that, it was a cool episode. I don't expect them to make it off the farm until the season is about over unfortunately. I suspect after that, a few from the farm will join them on the journey.

Love the show and stoked for this second season. The first episode of the new season was alright, a good segway into the new season. However I wish they would move away from a lot of the romance/drama and show more zombies and action. My band mates and I usually pick up a 24 pack and watch it on after practice on Sunday's.

Figures a woman would pull a move like that, even with only the occasional lame brain on the road. :p

(sarcasm/joke)

Thats exactly what all my friends said when it happened, "Woman drivers!" Kidding of course.

I have a gut feeling she gets bitten and somehow has a zombie baby.

Like the newer Dawn of the Dead.

Good to see some action right off the bat. Last season was a "let's all cry and love each other" season... ZzZzZzZz

Exactly my gripe... I love the show, but it fell off right after Season 1's finale... Exactly HOW many episodes did they spend trying to find Sophia? And I wanted to bash my head against the wall with half of Rick and Lori's choked up convo's ("He talked about the deer...:crying:, HE TALKED ABOUT THE DEER!!!:bawl:). To me, while he may be a bit wacko, Shane is the most rational one of all the group. I swear I'm gonna lol when he finally pulls a Otis on Dale...

If they can slowly branch out to different areas like they did with the bar scene the show won't lag as much, but to dedicate a whole half a season on a boring farm and a little girl becoming zombiefied is a bit absurd (plus didn't Rick already blow a kid's head off back in the pilot?)

Lastly, even though I don't really like the guy, I have to agree with Dave Navarro's point on Talking Dead. Where are all the zombies on a show about zombies??
