The Who? Superbowl

i completely agree.... i also think mettalica is at that point too .... they're just wasting tallent at this point

The Who was a fitting choice for broadcaster CBS. CSI is a major franchise for CBS and Who songs are the signature of the series. The broadcaster always heavily promotes their programs throughout the Super Bowl and having The Who playing their halftime show further promotes their lineup. Not surprisingly The who performed all the CSI songs.

The OP originally asked who the bassist was. He didn't even ask what he was playing. So to talk about the bass would be just as off-topic as where we are now. We got the answer - "Pino" - two posts in. Might as well make the thread worthwhile.:bassist:

Well... certainly Pino has a blog or something doesn't he? Has anyone thought to... you know... ASK him?

I also see there is a thread on the topic over in the "Basses" section... though I haven't been over there so don't know if the 200+ posts in that thread answered the question any more effectively there than here.

Duh - those are the three most popular Who songs. Of course they were going to play them. What did you expect, "Odorono"?
