1982 was a great year in Bordeaux, your friends are in for a treat.

Two lesser known wines that I have been adding to the mix are Alberino, a crisp white from Portugal and Cannonau, a red from Sardinia which is beautifully balanced.

Last box. Not that I'll be out soon, but some bottles are off limits or were never stored properly to begin with. So yes, I'll be out of drinkable wine soon. Enjoying it while it lasts.

Tom Gore Cab Sav.....very good bang for the buck

For reds, I typically gravitate towards Cab Sauv or Malbec from Chile & Argentina.
On the white spectrum, mostly a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is nice and crisp for the Summer. I like an oaky Chardonnay occasionally, but prefer it from Stainless.

I don't drink much wine, however I am a big fan of both Ian Tiago (a blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon), and Manischewitz.

When I got into homebrewing beer my brother decided to get into winemaking.

He buys the concentrated grape juice for making dark wine and also other fruit wine like cherry, blackberry, plum, etc.

I'm not a big fan of wine but I really like the stuff my bro makes. His cherry wine is my favorite.

We've settled in to a handful of wineries that we like best, so we joined their wine clubs and stick with their releases.
Syrah, Cab Franc, and Malbec top our list of favorites.
