I read some where (probably the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy) that when you drop a sandwich it always lands buttered side down and when you drop a cat it always lands feet down, so if you attach a sandwich, butter side up, on the back of a cat and drop it, it never lands and you have created an anti gravity drive. I don't know if this works since I'm allergic to cats and don't have any bread at home...
