Every time I struggle playing a passage in a song, I always assume it's my fretting hand screwing up. When I break it down and really figure out what's going on, I realize the problem is that I'm raking instead SA'ing the part. I then put in the time necessary to correct the raking problem til the part begins to sound fluid, rhythmic, and tight.
