The "your beer sucks" thread

Sweet mother of crap, someone gave me a 6-pack of Murphy's Irish Stout a few years back.

I'd rather drink motor oil. First of all it says on the can to drink it warm, and second it tastes like hell at any temperature...I still have one can unopened (8 years running now).

1 can, I tried.
1 can, I gave to my Father in law. (he hated it too)
3 cans, I poured down the sink.
1 can, I kept as a constant reminder never to try it again.

I actually like Murphys...

Coors Brewing Company - ALL of your beer sucks!

Another beer that sucks... Kokanee... suck it British Columbia.

I'm also inclined to agree. A friend of mine grew up on the west coast, but moved out east before he became legal age and had always wanted to try Kokanee. So we had my aunt bring a can with her from Vancouver... talk about an unremarkable beer.

I guess I wouldn't say it sucks, but it wouldn't be anywhere near my first choices.

Not all chocolate beers have chocolate in them, sometimes it reflects the color of the ale. Sometimes they boil in coco beans, which often results in more of a bitter coffee aftertaste. Some have actual chocolate flavor, which makes for a decent dessert beer.

I had a chocolate beer from Abita. I think it was called Turbo dog.:spit: Disgusting.

I also had another one in a purple bottle, and it tasted like I was drinking a chocolate flavored soda. The girl I was with got hammered really quick though.:o
