The "your beer sucks" thread

I don't drink beer. Haven't even tasted one in years. However, it is forever ingrained in my brain that original Coors is positively terrible. So that's my contribution to the thread.

Coors sucks.

The big three macros... Bud/Miller/Coors... all suck major ass.

This, on the other hand.....is good stuff.

Not all chocolate beers have chocolate in them, sometimes it reflects the color of the ale. Sometimes they boil in coco beans, which often results in more of a bitter coffee aftertaste. Some have actual chocolate flavor, which makes for a decent dessert beer.

Chocolate Stouts are pretty good.

If you haven't tried Bell's yet, you need to. I pretty much like all of their brews.

Natural Light.

There are not enough words in any language to describe how much i hate this yellow, fizzy, beer-flavored water. The college kids next door drink it all time. being raised on my dad's homebrew (a modest 11-12%), and hearing these guys getting buzzed of this stuff makes me laugh. Anything above 3.2 would most likely kill them.

hey americans.... your beer sucks

outside of some GREAT American microbrews (like the one we ate dinner at tonight), I agree!

I was in Ireland last spring on business and the pubs were full of Budweiser adverts and a PREMIUM PRICE was being charged for a Bud....people were slugging them down like lemonaide and were saying how good they were.....uhem.....I am SORRY, but BUD is NOT a "premium beer" by any means!

oh well...."the grass is always greener"....

and Coors merged with Miller!!! OMG! That just brought MIller down 3-4 notches in my book! At least with Miller, if I HAD to drink a domestic non-micro brew, I drank Miller...now I am not sure....

I've only poured two partial cases of beer down a drain.

The most recent was 16 bottles of Sam Adams after they announced a recall because of faulty bottles that could leave shards of glass in the beer. This one hurt but they did have a pretty painless system to request a rebate and they sent me a check to buy a new case. :hyper:

The first was about 22 cans of Bud Select - it was only $8.00 a case which should have tipped me off. :rollno: If that is what qualifies as Select, I'm am truly frightened at what was not selected. Bud is my favorite big US beer, but Bud Select is just bad. I couldn't even bring myself to use it as slug bait.
