There is a ghost in my room

Casper-Friendly-Ghost-2.jpg

I often feel like someone is blowing over my ear, or a sensation of sticking a feather into my ear.

I look around and is not a mosquito, a spiderweb, dust or some jerk messing up with me.

Sometimes my dog stares into empty space for no reason, I try to see what he is looking at, but there is nothing there.

Sometimes I see a shadow that moves, from the corner of my eye. I look around and there is nothing there.

Am I going nuts, or should I call the ghostbusters?

You, braveheart, saved a woman from her car trapped in a swampy ditch and you're scared of ghosts? :rollno:

ha! thanks, I was just going to mention my past thread.

I'm in a new house now, we moved out of that one about 3 weeks ago.

Even now, I'm still uncertain as to exactly what happened. I'll admit that it was weird, and I'll admit that it put a dent into my skepticism, but I'm still not ready to 100% declare that I had a ghost in my house. Something odd went on that night, I'm just not sure what...

I know what you mean---I do not believe in gosts either.
I am, however, on the fence about ghosts.

'Same here. I've never experienced one but then I've encountered a few folks who have exhibited a heightened sense of awareness (a sudden pause and display of ill-at-ease like they've just had a weird feeling after I've walked up unseen behind them on a public sidewalk and started directing my thoughts at them). This tells me that some people are more attuned to that which is not easily explained by science.

Now add in the many detailed accounts from those who've experienced the paranormal and I reckon that ghosts are hard to dismiss with any certainty.

But one day each of us will find out for ourselves..., and when we try to tell others...

BOO!

The power of the imagination is an incredible thing. I don't have any doubt people see, hear, and feel "ghosts", but the reality of undead spirits floating around effing with people is HIGHLY questionable to me. As far as I'm concerned, it's all in your head.

I have no doubt of entities existing among us that are weird and often frightening if for no other reason than they are...well, weird.

I mean, whats the point of moving your coffee mug (beaker to you Brits---at least according to Hyacinth) or pulling your hair? Call'em supernatural or whatever, but they are out there for their own reasons I guess.

There is some spooky crap out there in the dark and they can have what I refer to as a "laxative effect".
