THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH RACISM ON THIS FORUM

My brother was in the Border Patrol for a few years, the term Tonk is what they called the illegals. They'd always try to interview them in English when caught, and they'd always get an earful of "Yo no se! Yo no habla Ingles!" They found that they always knew more "Ingles" than they said they did, once they whipped out their Mag-Lites. "Tonk" is the sound the Mag-Lites made as they bounced off their skulls! So, they were nicknamed "Tonks". So, a "honky tonk" is a white border-jumper who only pretends not to know English?

i just spit water all over my computer screen.

I'm surprised no one brought this one up yet. :ninja::hiding:

Ever see Tupac: Resurrection? He clearly states the difference in calling someone a (explicit)-a and a (explicit)-er. One is with the the gold chains around his neck, and the latter is the one with the rope noose around his neck. Or something to that extent.

My mexican/irish friend looks very very mexican. None of his irish heritage shows. So whenever we're ripping on each other, everyone slings the "beaner" jokes at him, but I sling the drunk mick rips at him. He loves me for that. "HEY! Shaddap before I beat you with a bottle of Guinness!" Then he retaliates at my Hungarian-ness with, "Oooh! Gonna sick all those Hun invaders on me too? Beat me with goulash and paprika?"

I'ma have to buy him a box of Spic-n-Span now... LOL It'll be better than when he thew fistfuls of pinto beans at us at a poker party!

We're weird. Be warned.
