THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH RACISM ON THIS FORUM

I figured if I got called cracker it may balance it up 0.001%. Considering the history all over as humans we have a lot to answer for.

I find cracker to be a pretty funny term. Hat's of to who ever thought of it. I just can't see the term being malicious.

If two kids, one black and one white behaved like this you stick a foot in their ass.

(ass not requiring blanking as it is used commonly on "That 70's show" prime time US TV). Just in case someones in a bad mood today and decides to take it out on me.

My brother was in the Border Patrol for a few years, the term Tonk is what they called the illegals. They'd always try to interview them in English when caught, and they'd always get an earful of "Yo no se! Yo no habla Ingles!" They found that they always knew more "Ingles" than they said they did, once they whipped out their Mag-Lites. "Tonk" is the sound the Mag-Lites made as they bounced off their skulls! So, they were nicknamed "Tonks". So, a "honky tonk" is a white border-jumper who only pretends not to know English?

OMG!!! That's going to bring on a barrage from the Koolaid Drinkers here :p They might even tie in Blackwater employees and...............................Deleted for politcal content.

My black friends never use the Honky word, they just call me some sort of cracka that fits the need at the moment. :)

This isnt to say that all southerners are racist, my good friend on campus is from the South and he has got more sh*t for his confederate flag than a flag should ever get attention for. It says "Heritage not Hate" right on it too. Hes a good guy though and hes very passionate about changing peoples perception about him and people like him. Ive never seen him do or say anyting to anyone, yet his room has had stuff stolen, his truck has been vandalised and, he gets hateful note under his door every single day.
Just a thought.. many people consider the confederate flag to be a symbol of racism to the level of a noose hanging from a tree (that's history too).. If your friend is truly no racist and is concerned about people's perception of him, he might want to consider taking a racist flag down in their presence.. no matter what it says..

I always found it funny he was "classically" trained. Look at the guitar. I think Nylon when I think Honky Tonk every time.
