...Yes... I'm afraid its a little more serious than the OP alludes to... All Canadian geese, who are normally associated with normal, peaceful, and mostly migratory activities have also recently had some rather disturbing and similar issues come to the forefront: honking. The vocal method geese have used for millenia for communications, will now all have to be scraped in favor of something more politically correct!

The SCGIC (Senior Canadian Goose In Charge) will release a press statement to CNN on this serious matter later this week. The aged and mostly agreeable SCGIC teased CNN's reporter Virginia Cha yesterday with this tantilizing soundbite before waddling away from her camera crew in Atlanta: "We do not support racism in any form!"

Seriously I hate this PC bullsh*t. I hang out with people from all diferent races, and those people dont like this PC crap either.

There are countless more examples I could give.

I was once down on the borders of Mississippi and Alabahma and I have seen real racism. The people that freak out over racial jokes, and this kind of crap need to shut the hell up, because that is not racism, its telling a joke. From what I saw while I was down there, when people make this little stuff a big deal, it makes the tension more tense. A racist person is a racist person. Period. You arent going to change there minds. Racists are the most pigheaded and stubber people you will find. This isnt to say that all southerners are racist, my good friend on campus is from the South and he has got more sh*t for his confederate flag than a flag should ever get attention for. It says "Heritage not Hate" right on it too. Hes a good guy though and hes very passionate about changing peoples perception about him and people like him. Ive never seen him do or say anyting to anyone, yet his room has had stuff stolen, his truck has been vandalised and, he gets hateful note under his door every single day.

Wrong, crackers were in reference to supply runners during the US Civil War.

They'd often be driving a wagon filled with Hard Tack (a type of cracker) and other supplies. However the name came from the fact that they'd use a whip to drive their horse/ox/whatever, not because they whipped black people.

The crackers are coming was a term meant to mean that southern supply wagons were coming, and since all of those supply runners were white racists...

I think that the orign is probably one of those things nobody really knows. Ive never heard the explanation BBB gave before. Ive been told the one I heard a lot of times. Its probably rooted ina combination of all these things.
